Welcome to

Mrs. Sullivan's Website

Hello! My name is Jennifer Sullivan and I am the SRBI Specialist at Odyssey Community School. This is my eleventh year at Odyssey. Over the years I have held a few different positions; paraeducator, SRBI Interventionist, and Special Education teacher.

I am currently working on my Social and Emotional Learning and School Climate Certificate at Quinnipiac University that I will receive in Fall 2022. I hold a masters degree in Special Education from Central Connecticut State University, a Bachelor’s degree in History from CCSU, and an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Manchester Community College.

I live in Bloomfield, CT with my husband, Tom, our daughters, Rachel (7) and Molly (4), and our new puppy, Troy. I am so happy to teach so many wonderful students! I love teaching so many grade levels because I get to know many students at Odyssey and learn new things from them every day! This year I will be running the SRBI program. This includes, monitoring the program and student data, meeting regularly with teaching teams about student progress. I will be working in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband, my daughters, and our dog. We do many fun things together like, go for walks, cook, and play. I also like to read, and spend time with family and friends. I am so excited for another fantastic year!
